This cool looking KS was cancelled after it was funded. see here: link This is why I do not get on board any KS. Even if funded it will either take many years to get my stuff or if it is funded then it gets cancelled. |

I haven't seen any KS that I wouldn't pay a few more bucks for if it was ever actually released. I would have liked some of the figs, but I had no interest in the game. |

Odd that they cancelled after being successful. After scanning a few of the comments, it doesn't seem that too many backers were upset. |

This was their first ever kickstarter campaign and it does seem the organisers were getting feedback on improving both the game and the campaign layout – I get the impression they did not expect it to do quite so well. They also took on board feedback from Undead Viking (he only reviews boardgames he likes). They are regrouping and coming back later in the year with reworked mechanics, extra rules, more figures, a better spread of backer options – so if anything it is a good thing that can only end up with a win for them and a win for backers. No-one lost any money as the cancellation meant no funds were collected. Not had that experience myself Bravo Two Zero (well apart from the Defiance Games KS where I lost £36.00 GBP – but that one was a gamble given their rep). I would say that of the campaigns I have backed, around 70% delivered within 6 months, 20% within a year and the balance have ended in the last 2 or three months. You do have to research other projects run by the companies involved, but often it is a good way of supporting a new game or figure range. |

Yes, just to make it clear, if a Kickstarter Project is canceled *before* the funding data, you do NOT pay and do NOT lose any money. -Will |

This is a bit from the last update "We've made mistakes on the campaign, and would like to incorporate your feedback into the Vampire Hunters game itself. That's not going to be possible without more work and time, and much preparation for the campaign itself." I think this is a thoughtful and considerate company and will probably back it on the second outing as a result . For the record I did not back this one . |

Update on the review from Undead Viking – apparently he had a blast playing the game as is so that is good news too. |
