I spotted this image in a book recently and wanted some corn stooks to match.
Luckily Timecast has 15mm version that are perfect. Pictures and a review on my blog here… link Not the most interesting post, I know, but they are nice little scenic items. Colin |

The Timecast products are universally good; I wonder if they designed theirs from this picture, as things like corn stooks and hay stacks often had distinctive local styles (rather like rail/worm fences in different parts of N America). I am fairly sure that Tony Barton used this image as part of the inspiration for his AB bicorne-era French infantry. |
