Lovely chaps! They should stand proud in line of battle. Although were I commanding French or Jacobite Scots, I'd love to get among them and tear them to pieces. Just professional rivalry, you understand. Now, are these the 2nd Foot Guards (Coldstream)? Is that their badge, or are they the 1st Foot Guards (Grenadier)? I have figures I intend to paint as a Guards battalion for the 1745 rebellion and am studying flags and such. |

These are the Scots Guards (3rd Guards), 2nd battalion. There are three battalions on my blog and all of them intend staying well away from Lochaber axes………. |

Since your blog indicates that you also have the Coldstream Guards, allow me to say: "Nulli Secondus!" |
