Interesting to compare the different levels of animation and anatomical accuracy of the Foundry and Dixon figures (which were the bee's knees in the 80s and 90s) in the last two photos, with those of the recent releases of the Warfare Miniatures range in the first picture.

The Warfare figures tend towards more realistic proportion, but are not perfect, some like LOA30/31 are a bit wooden and might be redone at some point. The trend towards better proportion seems to have taken hold in the last few years.

The Foundry figures were sculpted by the Perries and show the favoured proportions of their time, of course they've moved to much more realistic proportions now, which inspired the Warfare figures, there's a nice circularity it that.
