I recently did a quick run through of the local Hobby Lobby and found it sold generic WW1-era triplanes made from sculpted metal. The smallest planes are a good fit for 28mm gaming – a bit on the big side, but close enough they don't stick out. Now these are decorations, not models, so don't expect accuracy or great detail. But they are only $10 USD each and are very suitable for terrain in settings where you don't care much about accuracy, like pulp settings. They come in two colors: red and green. I think my pulp heroes are about to raid a villain's airstrip on the edge of the Sahara.

Where can these be located in one of their stores?

They're typically on those multi-tiered tables in the front-center of the store, in the "man-cave decor" section. at least in the half-dozen I've been in.

I've seen those, and other similar items- you can't beat the prices.

What Beast Rampant said. They are not high quality but work very nicely as terrain.

I've seen some boats/ships in the same area that could work as well.

They have a really nice fishing trawler.

Less than 19 days to go and I only have two people signed up for my GASLIGHT game so I am posting this here and elsewhere in a late attempt to drum up some more players.

Most history books fail to mention some facts about the American Civil War, such as the widespread use of giant Mechanical Men, armored steam-powered Landships, and assorted Flying Machines. This miniatures battle will correct this mistake as it shows the Union and Confederate armies square off in a steam-powered, Mad Science driven battle. 25mm scale.

Someday I'll get mine finished off (sigh-so many projects, so few finished.

When I dropped by today they had 50% off all metal decoration. That sale will be running until the 2nd.
