After several weeks of painting, I finished the first step of my 21. Panzer Division infantry platoon project. I painted three squads of ten panzergrenadiers and a 6 men HQ. All the figures are from Artizan Design. Most of them wear a hooded smock with the sumpfmuster camo pattern and some of them have a zeltbahn with the splitter camo pattern. link

Really nice stuff. I've been on your site many times and enjoy it much. You also caused me to do some research. I had always assumed the panzerschrecks were a plain dunkelgelb, if not the early war grey color. Just goes to prove the consequences of "assuming"! I looked it up and the troops did at times field modify to the tri-color camo pattern. Thanks for sharing and for teaching an old dog a new trick. |
