…Unmanned Ground Vehicle armed with missile.

This is getting better (smile).

"Last week, the Iranian Defense Industry has unveild a new wheeled unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), called Nazeer or Nazir which can be armed with missile or light machine gun. Iran's modern defense industrial base was developed during the period of the Shah by an import substitution strategy, in which Iran would learn to produce, assemble, repair and maintain military equipment.

Iran is one of a few nations that is trying to achieve a totally self-sufficient armaments capability. With this new UGV, Iran shows one more time is ability to design and manufacture latest innovations and technologies of military equipment.

We don't because today's battery and solar tech can't be both small enough to mount on a vehicle and power it. I am not talking ultra-light, one man cars with no room either….I am talking about an honest to goodness car with useful range and carrying capacity.

I also doubt the solar panels would hold up to small arms fire and shrapnel….:)

What happens when their opponent runs up and tips it over like a sleeping cow? All the sensors are on the front.

If you paint it green and yellow it could be a John Deere tractor. This might be the tree trimming upgrade. Makes as much sense as any other explanation.

Good advertising space. Maybe Coke could use them going up and down pedestrian malls?
