Sending my boy off to college tomorrow.
We were able to get in a couple of good WFB8 games and one War & Conquest before he left.

He loves playing his Lizardmen – whereas I typically use one of the alternates (in this case Kislev – have done Norsca before). The W&C was Hannibal v Rome.

I got trounced – as usual. Since who knows how long it will be before we can game again (College is two western states away) – loved the time together as much as my dice hate me.

Now, to work on his younger brother (13).

Congrats on your son going to college, Korvessa, and congrats on enjoying playing those games with him before sending him off. Sounds like a good combo!

I live in Los Angeles and my son will leave for college on the East Coast in August. I'm proud and happy for him on the one hand… but bummed and dreading his departure on the other. Hopefully we'll get a few games in before the time comes, same as you did. Then I'll be gaming with his two younger sisters, who, when I can get them to play, usually trounce me the same as he does.
