A friend sent me this link. It's got to be one of the most jaw-dropping video clips of piloting skill I've ever seen. Unfortunately I've got no other info of when,where etc.

You see, that is what *I* thought as well. An RC plane.

The climb and banking turn after the stunt was just too fast for me to believe it was a real piloted aircraft; weight to thrust ratios and all that.

Thanks for pointing that out guys. I know nothing about RC models and had no idea that hobbyists flew anything that large. My knowledge of aircraft is limited to World War 1 through to the late 70's / very early 80's so I've not got much grasp of the capabilities of modern aircraft. On the bright side though, you have given me the opportunity for a bit of gentle ribbing on Monday – the guy who sent me the link is a former Navy air traffic controller!
