Sigh. I know I have harped about scifi civilians. Then somebody does a KS for nothing but… And goes for retro aesthetics and old school GW physiques -- not to mention the popular no-real-options approach to the project itself. Almost none of these fit with anything I have managed to collect so far. I could just about consider paying £9.00 GBP for the porter guy as a show of support but not for a random one from the set. I do urge anyone who's into retro spaceoperatic stuff to give this a go in hopes they can be persuaded to do another one with something in a bit more modern style (both in regards to anatomy and aesthetics). I'm thinking of just giving them £1.00 GBP for the effort alone… Or maybe I'll pledge so that I can whine about my frustration on the project page and then withdraw at the last minute like a proper little pledge troll. |

I really like them but not at $9 USDeach plus shipping with no stretch goals. Glad they made their funding though. |

The second ones look like a planet governor and his wife, great objectives. |

Science Fantasy… I'll pass but maybe there is a crowd for this? |

I agree with the consensus here. I'm looking for hard SF civvies, and these just don't fit the bill. |

In all fairness the first one, the portly fellow and the frog dude are very good but the entire industries headlong drive to roving stupidity is not helping matters. Can we all remember these are inch tall toys and price accordingly. I am not trolling or flaming and don't mean to offend anyone but I feel these things could use rembering. Really…. No offense |

I think they look absolutely superb. Gorgeous, euro-sci-fi aesthetic meets 40K, like Moebius drawing for Rogue Trader. Personally, other than the duke & duchess pair, I don't see why these wouldn't work in 'hard' sci-fi, too – who's to say what people wear in the future? The proportions are definitely old school, but I like that too, and have a lot of figures in this style, so despite the insane price, it looks like my wallet may be about to take another KS-bashing… |

Pricey, but I love 'em, so I'm in for a set. I'd love to see stretch goals, sure, but the creator has said that anything else would be delayed for 6 months, and he doesn't want to over-promise and under-deliver. KISS for KS doesn't sound so bad to me. As for price, I gave up a while ago, and just go with games that don't require lots of figs, or I accept that it'll take me a while to save up for bigger units. Since I don't require a book-defined 'HQ and 2 Troops', it makes things easier. |

I like them – but not at £8.00 GBP each. Good luck to them though. |

I finally got a chance to look at the kick starter and way to expensive. I can only hope these will be released someday at better price. |

I really love these, but having slept on it, I really think the price is prohibitive for all but the most dedicated fans. Looks liike I'm going to have to convert some cheaper minis and make my own versions instead after all… |

I like them. Especially the nobleman…but not for me…do em 15mm and I'm on it |
