I am working on a new game called Showdown and am looking for a few playtesters.

Like my Toy Battle System games that use toys as the primary playing pieces, this new game will also use existing playing pieces, but not toys. This game is designed to use CMG figures and maps from games like Heroclix, Mage Knight, Star Wars, etc…

The purpose of the game is to offer a simple set of rules that will allow players to get more use out of all of those unused figures and maps.

Anyone interested in playtesting can send me an email at radioactive_press@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Ken

I wanted to add that the game can be played using any figures, not just CMGs, as long as you have a grid map they fit on. It is also quite possible that the rules will work just as well with boards/maps that use hexes.

I'm currently looking into what it would take to get grid maps with larger squares and appropriately sized graphics made.

My goal with this is to have maps that can be used with standard sized action figures so that the game can essentially be used to turn many action figure lines into board game pieces.
