Suggest a better name for the underused Remote Gaming Board, whose purpose is: For discussion of anything related to non-face-to-face miniature gaming, including PBM, PBEM, and internet gaming. |

I asked because I find something faintly silly about playing miniatures by mail. I don't think I have ever even glanced at that board. Once. I could be wrong. I used to play Avalon Hill games by mail, and also Diplomacy and Slobbovia. But miniatures? Does not compute. YMMV. |

Remote works for me, since it's the best one-word description I can think of currently. |

If anything, I think "remote gaming" by definition should specifically include Skype and other computer/video gaming forms. I've played in many of these and think they are very much in the immediate future of miniatures gaming. TVAG |

The board title could be interpreted to mean "gaming with remote control models". And yes, some people do play Wargames with remote control tanks, planes and ships! |

Well I voted against it. So I guess is were I say, told you so. It sounds like gaming with remote control vehicles, ships and planes. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I have seen remote control ships go at it. Fun to watch. |
