The images are nice and all but I'm just struggling to wrap my brain around a Frenchman named Fred. No reason not to have such, of course. But it just doesn't resonate for some reason. Go figure. |

But the insidious Dr. Fu Manchu also went by "Fred." Cf. "The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu." This suggests it is universally popular. |
