Here are some shots of my recently completed wagon laager; I painted and based the wagons and the minis were painted by mate Nick Speller.

There are pics of the other parts of the laager on my blog, with some close-ups and previous posts showing the construction process:

Deep tans and horses' heads? I didn't think the Germans got as far as Sicily until some years later.

Thanks chaps! I'm very pleased with how they came out.

Hmm. Or you can use them as the crowd at the weekend Chariot Drag Race, cheering their favorite drivers.

Celts, aren't they? Note the tartans. Hmmm, also beards. Now I'm all confused.

Wow those are some fantastic looking figures! Question: when did Zed start painting faces?

Hi Oldbob, these chaps aren't Redzeds, but rather my mate Nick Speller's painting. Shaun certainly paints a mean Celt, though!

These are top class. Great characterful models and arrangements. Certainly very eye catching on the table.

Thanks chaps. All the figures are removeable and I'm just starting work on an alternate set of figures to sit inside them. I eventually hope to end up with sets covering three different periods, so that I get a lot of "bang for my buck".

Best, Simon
