At least by this time the Russian army was modernised to the point when it could take on the awesome Swedes! I would be proud to deploy such beautifully painted and based figures! – well done! |

Thank you for your kind compliments! :) I am currently working on a unit of Swedish infantry. Hopefully I will be able to show them quite soon. The Project will soon go i to a more intense phase.it has to be compleated within a month. |

Great looking figures. The blog did not mention which rule set you will be using for your demo game. A minor note, I thought the Russians were still deploying a fair number of pikemen amongst the units during the GNW. Also no grenadiers? |

We will use Black Powder together with the supplement " Ladt Argument of the Kings" This supplement the Russians have the opinon to field a unit that includes both musketerars as well as pikemen. The Russian did have grenadiers as far as I can tell. There where entire units that only consisted of grenadiers for exemple " Repnin'Grenadiers". There is also so called Horse-grenadiers. The main question is how often they mixed ordinariy musketeers with grenadiers like the Swedes did. |
