I'm planning to get the Mighty Fortress rules soon, as well as whatever aeroplanes can be used. I've found a picture of the back cover, so I know which aircraft are available, but I'd like to know how they're organised, just so that I know what quantities to get. |

By that stage of the war all fighter units flew in pairs/fours. I would suggest that you pick up a couple of packs for each type of fighter this would give you twelve or eight depending on the size. The building block for the US heavies was a cell of six. I would guess that this would be the smallest unit you could really get away with. Fatman |

Well, the idea is that the within the rules, aeroplanes are organised into sections to determine victory target, but as I don't currently have them, I'd like to know what section size they use so that I don't have an excess or deficit of certain planes when I make my order. It does seem that it groups fighters in 2s/4s and heavies in 3s, judging by the starter pack provided (4 P-51, 4 Me262 and 3 B-17), but as it doesn't include mediums or lights, I'd like to know how those are organised within the rules. |

I would guess that all bombers would be in threes. I don't actually own the WW II sets and will probably go for the Battle of Britain set when I do. Fatman |
