Hi Guys, I just wanted to let you all know, I am hosting another of the WWII games put on by the lads that bring you everything that is HUUUGE in WWII, you no doubt may have seen John's Demonstration games at Salute over the last few years. Arnhem and D-Day have featured heavily. This time we are offering a scenario, which is part of Operation Epsom, lots ad lots of Armour, infantry assaults, bunkers the works! When? May 29th-31st inc. Check out the website for more details and drop me a line if you are at all interested. wargameshc.co.uk Thanks Mark. |

You should make the trip as part of a tour, there is a lot of historical interest around Hampshire and Berkshire over here in Sunny Blighty! |

Okies, as the foolish man putting on this extravaganza, I'll bung in some details, the game will be based on the opening phases of Operation Epsom, Normandy, 29th June, 1944. with elements of the 15th Scottish Infantry Division, pushing onto, and hopefully through(!) Colleville, St Maugru, and the counter attacks by 9th and 10th SS. About 500, 1/35, 1/32 figures, and about 30/40 tanks and other vehicles, 1/32 Typhoons, hopefully rocketing the correct targets(!) With custom-made buildings, and the ma-hoosive tables provided by the centre, this should be a memorable game! get in touch with the centre to book. wargameshc.co.uk See you at the start line, with Sherman engines running!
