Besides the usual barns, farms and Churches, what buildings do you use for AWI? Guilford Courthouse doesn't count. Chew House, either. I'm asking this, because as I unpack stuff, I found two types of buildings that I cannot place. They are very large buildings featuring Colonial mansions with multiple chimneys. Good for both AWI and ACW. Thus the crossposts. One is a series of Colonial buildings made of stone and are solid castings weighing about 2 or 3 pounds! It's heavy. It has a side building attached to it, forming an "L" shape. There are several smaller buildings, also. One has 4 chimneys ! The others are hollow castings of several AWI/ACW buildings and I'm thinking that they are urethane castings, perhaps? All are unpainted and could be more than a few years old. I've looked on Grand Manner and JR Miniatures but can't find any of them. Any suggestions?

OK, It appears that the solid buildings are Architectural Heritage buildings and the hollowed out versions are JR Miniatures castings. Does this sound right? Anyone have pictures of painted buildings? |

The arch. Heritage buildings are all historical replicas of existing ones. I painted them from pictures I found or took. |

Thanks, Brendan. Some of them are Hovels. Some are JR Miniatures and the rest are Architectural Heritage. Finally having these all in the same room reveals that I have bought the same building 3 times and several others twice. No matter, they can all be painted diffrently. |

Sounds like prime material for the flea market. :-) |
