Wonderful work! I have a box sitting ready to go. A question on the shields. Victrix decals?What did you find was the best base colour for the shields to let the detail stand out? cheers |

Thanks for the comments gents. Dragonfan79 I undercoated the figures and shields white, you need a white undercoat for the Victrix transfers anyway and it saves painting on tunics. I used a wash of Army Painter soft tone to finish. |

Thanks Cyrus, I use a similar method, not as nicely done as yours however! Thanks for the tip on the shields. I've generally used a brass undercoat for shields but is does dull the transfers. White looks the business! Cheers |
