Hi guys

I have finished the tanks for an early war German commission, (the infantry can be seen here link ) 1 X Pz I, 2 X Pz II, 1 X Pz III, 1 Pz IV, and a P.a.k they are all plastic quick builds (S model I think) except the Pz III which is metal, not sure what company though, the detail on these is excellent for quick build wargaming models, they came to me built, I just did the painting and weathering, all C&C welcome

Look very good Dan.

Not sure quite how "early war" the collection is going to be used for, but (without looking in any books) just struck me that white "open" crosses might have been more typical, at least on some of these vehicles.

Nice work there, Gunner. Could you confirm that those are the S-Model kits? I need some proper fast build early Panzer IVs to replace my too darn small Matchbox conversions, and I've been looking at the S-Models, as I also need some command versions of the early T-26, some Renault UE carriers for my Rumanians, and there's always room for a few more Hotchkiss H-38/39s… evil grin

Were the track and suspension assemblies on the tanks one piece? If so, I suspect that they're S-Model…

Looking in some books, and a bit of Googling, tells me that the Balkenkreuz with a black core was used from the invasion of Denmark/Norway onwards. Photographs show this, but white outline crosses are also evident. So neither is wrong for early war post Poland.

Thanks guys

Hi Blackwidow, the Pz 1 and 2s are S model, the 3 is PSC

Thank you, Gunner! Those track and suspension assemblies on the Panzer Is and IIs, were those one piece assemblies?
