I'd be happy if someone would produce these in 1/600th scale, in metal, but this epic, 1/12th scale model is a beauty, with a 19 foot wingspan. Watch it taxi, and fly, in what appears to be fairly challenging, cross-wind conditions. link Clearly, some of us have hobbies, and then there's another class who take their miniature models a bit more seriously. |

I watced them take off about every week growing up. Impressive. My dad, a B36 flight engineer described them as six turning and four burning. Then I saw his plane land with four props feathered… Scary. |
