Do you think the one hour wargame rules themselves would have given a similar outcome?

I hope to be testing them shortly with ACW armies.

I think so. Ultimately units are units. The rules give random OOBs so "you get what you get and you don't get upset." or so I tell my kids. wink

But yes. The rules should give similar results. I tried to stick to the board size (3'X3').

Fun looking game. I've al ways wanted to play Featherstone rules so will be checking yours out. I have the set from his wargameing in the peninsular book but suspect they weren't his regular rules.
