There's an excellent book named "The Longest Siege of the American Revolution: Pensacola" by Wesley S. Odom.
It covers the Spanish forces from when they entered the war until the Battle of Pensacola. Lots of maps, information on battles including how many and which troops were involved, even color uniform plates and info on uniforms, also covering the Indians who fought there. Very readable and interesting read. I found it very enjoyable and have read it twice already.

Rudy Nelson,

Is the issue available somewhere? It can only be clipped once. wink Sounds like something I would want to read.

Do to a friend being injured in an accident. I am tardy getting the files out to those who sent me emails. Due to a sudden crunch on time, I am semding the entire file and not just the clipping.

Also while I was in Pensacola, I found two other unique books by Coker and Coker on the campaign. These are a compliation of maps with narratives on each map.
"The Siege of Pensacola in Maps" and the "Siege of Mobile 1780 in Maps".
Both were great for verifying unit numbers and formations.
