so i bought some saxons off of ebay and i really liked them, and the seller included his email address with the miniatures. he goes by shadowcat20 here on TMP

a short time later i had some norman cavalry that i'd assembled and wanted painted, and since i like his style, i shot him a line asking if he did commissions.

he did, and long story short, they came out great. but more importantly he was great with communications and super nice. he even replaced all the plastic spears with metal ones for a small increase after some broke when i shipped them.

i'll be going to him in the future for more dark age painting, but wanted to drop a line here reporting my positive experience.

Or most of em anyway. He requested plain bases so he could paint to match the rest of his army.

I do not consider myself a Master, just a old guy who paints wargaming armys above wargaming standard.
