Well I finally got out of my non-painting rut and painted some more 1/600 scale modern aircraft. Come by and check out the pictures and some of my scenario ideas.

Thanks!

Very nice, I am currently poking around in my lead mountain looking at what O8 models I have, and what I need to order, for this conflict. You are missing various Typhoons. ;-P

Sweet looking figs! I'm impressed that they are so small and yet very nice!

Hi Fatman,
Thank you for checking out my blog, the O8 miniatures are good! I like how light they are and there is a lot of detail on those little planes. Yes I am missing some Typhoons and other aircraft. I hope to get some more aircraft once I paint up the ones I have. More pictures coming this weekend.

Hi Chuckaroobob, Thank you for the kind words. The miniatures are all very well cast and it makes it easy for me to paint them.

"I hope to get some more aircraft once I paint up the ones I have." What…….what is this heresy? You can't wait until you've painted stuff to buy more stuff. That's not the wargamers way, that's the way normal people do things! ;-)

The O8 and TD models are excellent and actually quite easy to paint. Most of my stuff is TD, I only use O8 for stuff that TD don't do and for my Russians. If you have any interest in modern air warfare I would recommend 1/600th.

You are quite an artist, the planes look great!

I'm looking forward to your next models.

Jack
