sumerandakkad: Hopefully we can meet up at Campaign in May. I shall be there on the Northampton Battlefield Society stand, re-running the Battle of Northampton. |

Thanks, that was an excellent report. Another successful Battleday thanks to Richard Lockwood's organization and the efforts of everybody who took part. I enjoyed it enormously. Now all I have to do is write up the DBMM game for Slingshot! |

Very good write-up. I'm curious about the OB for the BBDBA game, appears they had their own. |
Trebian | 29 Mar 2015 9:42 a.m. PST |
Everyone made up their own OB, based upon the Slingshot articles. Except for Phil Sabin, who had already done his. And me, who used Phil's. And the C&C guys, I'd guess. |

I was sorry to miss it this year due partly to commitments domestic, and part due to pressure of work. I read that someone was playing "To the Strongest!", does anyone know who? |
Trebian | 29 Mar 2015 11:37 a.m. PST |
I think that "To The Strongest" was the game that didn't make it. |

A couple of pics from my game with Civitates Bellantes link Many thanks to Richard Lockwood, not only for organising the day but also for supplying a magnificently painted Indian army which he was up basing until 1am the night before! |

>I'm curious about the OB for the BBDBA game, appears they had their own. I used Duncan Heads and Jef Jonas figures from Slingshot 297 I then followed what Phil says an element represents on page 14 of the rules 'Historical Refights'. 25 elephants = 1 base. So 200 elephants = 8 bases. How all these bases are grouped in to commands is a bit more problematic. I will be writing it all up for Slingshot. |

williamb- I felt really sick looking at the number of figures on the table. Sick with jealousy! I have around 300 infantry 10 elephants (based in 2's), 10 chariots (based in2's) and 90 cavalry in my Irregular miniatures Indian army. All based for DB rules. No Macedonians yet. Trebian- I will certainly look you up if I make it, and I'm sure I will. |
