Why is it called a "hachet" when it is quite obviously a machete? Is it because of the relatively short blade? I recall reading something about a US unit where the author mentioned "machets".

I think this may be the first time this pattern of pith helmet has been reproduced in 28mm; very useful for those late 30s campaigns against the Redshirts and the Faqir of Ipi.
