Sometimes you can find superheroes in all sorts of places…

Which is my way of announcing a new post regarding alternative sources of superhero figures you may not be aware of.

Hopefully of use, comments appreciated.

Reaper Chronoscope line. Not only the superhero section but the other sections as well.

This just out: Headache Man and his trusty sidekick, the Pronged Egg.

I still think Dark Age and other post-apoc lines have minis that work for superheroes, especially of the darker and grittier variety that doesn't like to wear speedos on top of their tights.

Interesting. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

However, looking at the lower end of the pledges available, if I pledged at almost the lowest level (i.e. 7 Euros), I get 1 miniature for which I also have to pay 3 Euros shipping. So for approximately £10.00 GBP, I get 1 miniature.

My understanding of Kickstarter was that whilst you were supporting whatever was being produced, the incentive to pledge was that you would get the product at lower prices than retail, which suggests that the retail prices for these miniatures is going to be in excess of the 7 and 9 Euros pledge levels. Whilst the miniatures are nice, they're not inspired enough to have me reaching for my wallet.

Discounts are probably an important incentive to a lot of folks. They aren't written in stone obviously so the minis might still be about 10 e per superhuman. On the logic that you probably only need a few it isn't necessary excessive even if there is no brand to speak of as in the case of, say, Batman Miniatures Game.

OTOH lower end pledges hardly ever make a lot of sense if you aren't in the same country as the project runner, often not even then. Some projects, most often European ones aiming to please the big American buying public, do skip p&p or have it at sensible level per single mini but it's rare.
