Here is another building for my growing zombie table. I have one more house, and then I am back to the tall story city buildings finally. This is a O scale plastiville Mansion kit. link Tom Thanks for looking. |

Lovely, especially the brickwork (how do you get the mortar so nice and bright?) Now all it needs is a Not-Rhett-Butler shooting a zombie Not-Scarlet O'Hara with a Colt cap-and-ball revolver with the quote: "Frankly, my dear, I won't give a brain!" <BAM!> |

Great building -- would work great for American Civil War in 28mm, too…gonna have to look for one. |

You produce such good stuff so fast. Great. Love to play in your village/town/city. Moving quickly towards the latter I think. |

What rules are you intending to plug into this nice stuff? |

We appreciate the postings, especially the photos. I look forward to each building, especially the much anticipated tour of the completed town. …oh yeah, what rules?

Thanks to all. Greatly appreciate the positive comments to keep me motivated to keep going and finishing this large project. When I dive in, I dive head first. I was thinking that too about it working with a civil war game as well. And the buildings can be mixed to make a small town or the outskirts of a large city. Not all of the buildings are done as far as large city buildings, those are coming up soon. I have not decided on any rules yet, but most like we will make up some house rules, my wife is my game partner, and hard to work with…haha. For the Mortor, I use white weathering powder, rub it in, use a damp cloth to rub the excess dust off, then spray with dull coat. You can paint the bricks and weather them up with other browns, greys, reds, etc before you put the white mortor in, or it will turn colors. And I look foward to the finale and showing it all off. But I especially cant wait to start painting the miniatures as well. Tom |

Maybe you should try some cheat artist pastel sticks, not oil based and work them with sandpaper to convert them to powder. Cheaper then model pastels. Just a thought. …best of luck and we will follow you with bated breath. |
