Does CA figures, specifically the Western Sudan range match up better with Artizan or with Askari figures better?

Whilst 28mm each range seems to be unique in size, I have used the figs with both

I have figures from all three ranges and I think they go together rather well, albeit in separate units. The Castaway Arts (Franco-Prussian War) and Artizan (20th Century) figures are a little heftier than the Askari (French colonial), but all are about the same height.

I like the AD's but they are very big.I have one crouching and he is as tall as the Askari standing up.I was just wondering which one the CA would be closer to.

I believe on the Castaway home page there is a link to a picture that has about 20-30 different figures from various manufacturers shot against graph paper so you can get a better idea.

Thank you.Shame Askari and AD aren't on it.I have a couple of CA's being sent to me and I'll compare them to Askari and AD when I get them.

CA are in the small side. I don't think theyll match well with Artizan

I think CA and Askari will be all right.AD are very nice IMO but don't have a large selection for French West Africa, especially natives but will be nice for a Fashoda vignette.

I've found the CA and Askari go well together.Artizan Design are vey nice figures but are larger than the other 2.In a large group of figures they would probably be ok.
