Subject says it all.

I was hoping to get the Warlord Games figure for Lingy and Waterloo, however this is their response to my query.

We believed that these figures would be released early this year, however they are still in production and we don't currently have a definite date for their release. I believe they will be made available in June but I can't say for definite until they are added to our release schedule. As soon as they become available we will show them off on our Website, Facebook page and in the News letter, so keep an eye on those for more details.

A little late for Ligny and Waterloo. I know Foundry has a Von Blucher figure, but I have Calpe figures, so it may be a tad small.

Any good suggestions? Thanks in advance.

second that. The three figures are really good, but I have to say I would love to have seen one of them in a Bicorne hat, just for variety……..

One day, someone will do Blucher under his horse, with an ADC to protect him and a cuirassier riding by. What a vignette. A history changing moment, but never yet captured in any scale…………I think?

USA Jacobite Napoleonics. "PNX020 personalities Marshall Blucher" It just so happens that I have an extra one and expect to live in splendor as soon as I sell it on evilbay.

I wonder if the Perrys will add a fallen Blucher to their Waterloo Vignettes sets?

Hi, Deadhead. Well, this is ancient history. Back in the 70's I owned Deauville Models. We did the vignette as you describe in 54mm. Company is long defunct and I have no idea who know has the masters and molds. Anyway, just a little nostalgia on my part!

Would love to see a picture of that! I did suggest to Perrys recently…but I admit limited wargame interest. Everyone wants taking of eagles (of course), knocking down gates (or closing them), but no one does something like this that was such a pivotal moment…what if?

Has anyone ever seen Ney on foot, like Dan O'Herlihey, or even on his horse with broken sword, calling all to come and see how a Marshall of France dies (or like Cambronne, actually does not)?

stoneman1810, I would love to see a picture of that vignette myself!
