I am once again on a Dragon kick now that my new Bones have arrived. here is the question, metallic Dragons like Bronze and gold are they just suppose to be that color or are they suppose to be made of the metal? |

Depends on your source. In a book series by Peter Morwood, the one dragon (as far as I can recall) actually has scales made of iron. |

In 'default D&D' the metallic dragons are still flesh & blood, not actually made out of metal. But other settings can (and will) vary. -Will |

I would go with the colour being nothing to do with the structure of the Dragon. But then again, I like Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern books! |

In AD&D, primary colour (and none colour black & White) Are Evil, Metallic are good and the secondary colours are neutral. |

Some fish have metallic-colored scales & they are not metal, so I'd imagine dragon scales wouldn't be much different. It all depends on how pretty you want to make the paint job. ;-) |
