I'm finished with Vietnam for a while. I feel like I lived through the conflict after reading 15 different books on the subject. I still have a book on my Nook about the war. I'll get to that later.

I read this book some years ago, it was so good I read it twice. We gamed one of the actions described in the book a couple of times too, using the old "Recon" rules, when the SEALS had to snatch a VC tax collector. I remember the long-winded USN ranks, e.g."Ship Fitter Pipe Fireman Strausbaugh" :-)

It is an excellent read. He wrote one or two others very similar.
