Since you peeps helped with tips I want to share the result of my project. I give you:

Cilol Robotics FSD (Field Surgery Droid) Mk. X.

The Mk. X continues to build on Cilols successful MU-chassis, the design came into production 15 years ago, but with several improvments over Mk. IX.

- The dexterity and multispectral sensor system is of a new design which makes the droid not only capable of advanced combat first aid and simple surgery but gives it the capability (with the right software and equipment) to remove brain tumors and reattach cut of limbs. However most military forces are satisified with the cheaper (but still very capable) versions. This system is of Cilols own design.

- It is designed to operate as the hub in a network of medical transport and first aid automations (so called "Care Bears"). It can diagnose the patients and give medical advice to humans at the field hospital while the patient is transported by the automations. The signals are of course heavily encrypted. The Mk. X retains the capability to act independent like previous models.

- Complaints over the Mk. IX's durability made Cilol take help of Divaria in improving the chassi and armor. The Mk. X armor has a 25 percent improvment in durability over the previous mark when it comes to weapon-, temperature- and falldamages as well as electrical charges.

- The biggest, and most requested, improvement is the Mk. X offensive capabilities. The dexterity system makes it capable to use most infantry weapons as hand to hand weapons, pistols, assault rifles, SAWs and lasers. It is in the simplest version just as capable as any trained infantry soldier at hitting targets at up to 300 meters. More capable versions are of course able to handle heavy support weapons as well as having an increased hit capability. The IFF-system designed by Weston is of SIM-78 standard.

The new and improved long arms and fingers in combination with the heavy armored body and larger head module have given the droid a slight gorilla appearance. It is nicknamed "First Ape".

I built it from various parts from Anvil Industry and Pig Iron Productions. It is painted with Vallejo paints.

Thanks, I want to see the minis with belivable paint schemes – that's how I roll. I understand why some paint theirs as a circus troupé – they are easy to see and catch the spectators eyes.

The room was fairly dark so I photgraphed with a flash. In reality the mini is semigloss to flat in finish. The camo was from a mix of pale beige, grey and dark green. It reminds me of the current US Army camo but with more contrast and bigger shapes.
