Another preview for the Dark City 30 range – a corner apartment building. The final version will have slightly more narrow corner stones and larger detail over the windows, but otherwise the building in the pictures is the same as the one that will go into production. In short: over 21 cm high, 12x12cm footprint, two sets of opening doors and three accessible floors. How do you like it? Does it fit any of your current wargaming projects?
A closer look at building details. All of the Dark City 30 buildings have doors that are 30mm wide or larger to accomodate not only the classic 1" bases, but also the lipped 30mm ones used in some of the newer skirmish games.

I don't need more urban buildings right now, but I must say I'm quite impressed with your designs. Your use of corner pieces to hide the ubiquitous puzzle-piece edges of MDF buildings is a very nice touch. The corner bits should meet flush though rather than staggered. See the corners of Dust Tactics Warzone buildings to see what I mean. |

@ordinarybass: thanks! The corner bits will be redesigned a bit – they will not only be more narrow, but also use an interlocking design that will make them meet without a gap. |

Nicely done. Whilst the majority of MDF manufacturers cater for WW2, VBCW, Oriental and Old West, very few seem to want to produce characterful buidlings for modern urban combat and/or supers. Of course, should you want to add a three storey fire-station that my have been re-purposed by a band of paranormal exterminators to your range, I'm sure there are a few people on here who'd snap them up… |
