Pictured are some recently completed models from and for Armaments in Miniature, LLC. The A6M5 and both the Judy bombers are single-piece resin castings. The Rufe and Pete are multi-piece models. If I recall correctly, the Rufe kit includes the main airframe, the main float with two separate struts, and and the outboard floats. The Pete has the same arrangement with the addition of the cabane and interplane struts along with the upper wing. The kits didn't pose any real problems although a did trim the cabane struts on the Pete just a bit. I used I-94 decals for the national markings as well as the numbers on the aircraft. I forgot to mention that the Pete is a remastered reproductions of Ron Crawford's HBM model. |
