In the last week, they've added street packs and today they dropped a Battlement pack. The Battlements can work with Dungeon game tiles. So now you can get Sewer, Street and Battlement add-ons.

There are almost too many choices, my wallet doesn't know what to do.

Yes, I agree. I wish they had split this up into two or more Kickstarters with at least a 6 month gap for my gaming buget to recover inbetween. That being said, I'm in, but for only about half as much as I'd like to get; and would have got if I could have spread the spending out.

spread the spending out

Isn't that what Credit Cards are for? :P

I have been in on both of the first two Kickstarters, but this one just seems too expensive and a little disjointed. I want some of the packs but not all and the combinations just don't work.

Here is a test build I did with my KS1 pieces to get an idea of what the battlements might look like

I agree, too much at once. I am going with the village basic. The stuff looks great though. Maybe we can buy it in their store and start getting away from all these kickstarters that are a year late, although DF is always on time and perfect.

it takes too many pieces to build anything significant.

I was in huge on the first two KS they did but this one just doesn't do it for me.

My opinion, there are better options out there for buildings, streets, and castle walls. The sewer and dungeon stuff is very nice.

No money from me on this one. Guess I will wait until next years KS from them.

Chris Palmer19 Mar 2015 7:01 p.m. PST

DF just added a Sewers Only pledge level, so folks can buy in on the sewer stuff without having to buy any of the building stuff.

Doctor X – what do you recommend for streets? I was going to get the big street add-on but would like to know what alternatives are available.

Xintao20 Mar 2015 5:04 a.m. PST

Flatland, there are a few alternatives to DF streets.

1 Zuzzy Mats, makes a cobble stone mat in different sizes. Use that as a base and buy DF sidewalks.

2 Lemax Christmas village makes a cobble stone mat, similar to Zuzzy. Again buy DF sidewalk pack.

Hirst Arts makes stone tile moods that would allow you to cast your own streets/ sidewalks.

Not sure which is the cheapest way to go, but there are options.

Cheers Xin

There are now Wall and Floor add on packs, as well as Town Guard.

Here's a great Video showing all the different parts of this KS coming together in one setup. Brilliant design.

Honestly this stuff is awesome but expensive. This is not gaming on a budget. For some, my self included it is worth the cost.
