Obviously there are 1/72 plastics. How good/bad are Pegasus?

Anyone makes metal? Civilians? Buildings?

Thanks.

RAFM makes them in metal. Very nice, crisp figures.

RAFM Charlie Company and Italeri (plastic) work very well together.

There are also

SHQ – smaller than above. The helo pilots fit Italeri Cayuse
Britannia – thicker and more heroic than above. I use as "heroes" Also have helo crews.

if you are doing Marines, the RAFM's are great. squad has fire team leaders, sl and grenadier. I also have the Pegasus. they are plastic and need to be assembled. good variety of animated poses, but lacking command. only others I am familiar with are platoon 20s. a bit bigger and chunkier than the RAFMs. RAFMs NVA and VC are good as well.
I am planning on filling out my skirmish army with the platoon 20s.

lots of other mfgs out there.

Britannia seem to still be alive, but their site generally is not updated regularly. Also, they are critically short on miniature pictures. Large selection though. Wow.

Liberation Miniatures in Great Britain do metal figures in 20mm.

If you are interested in Vietnam wargaming, you really need to visit Fields of Fire Reloaded, the Vietnam miniatures wargaming website. Fantastic info buried away in the postings.

I am actually asking for my friend. He wants to build a diorama and just looking for ideas. He has 1/72 scale plastics and just wants to see what else is available to add/compose his diorama.

So far – a lot of great ideas. Thanks a lot!
