This year at Huzzah! (huzzahcon.com) a we will feature a Painting Workshop on the Sunday of the the con. (May 15th-17th) The presenters will be Tim Richter and Ken Eckhardt, two commission painters who have 50+ years of experience in miniature painting.

We are also going to have something a bit different for this workshop as well. We have put the call out to commission painters far and wide to paint sample figures so that we can show multiple interpretations and techniques to the participants. The commission artists who participate will also get their services posted onto the Huzzah! website, with a photo of their completed miniature. These sample miniatures will be given to lucky youth attendees of Huzzah!

The hands on painting workshop will be during the Sunday long session of the convention. We hope to cover everything from the basics to any advanced question that gets asked.

So to make sure we are getting the word out to everyone; we are putting out the word here. If you are a commission painter, and are willing to paint one 28mm miniature which will be given away to a youth attendee of the convention contact the OP, and we will get the ball rolling. OP can also be contacted at tprichterscale at gmail.com

More details to follow – we hope to have your participation, we have some excellent artists lined up already, but welcome more. If you want to see the work of Ken or Tim you can find it as follows: Ken – bluemoosearts.com Tim – colourguardminiatures.com
