Hi, A nice little vignette of a larger than life Victorian hero- one that has a few rules added on just to spice up the odd game when re-fighting the Second Battle of El Teb (See the Blood on the Nile publication from Warlord Games for details). There's much more information as well as many more pics on my Shooting Leave Blog as usual: link
Hope you enjoy the pics and text. Darrell. Just Add Water Blog: link Gewalthaufen (Late 15th /Early 16th Century) Blog: gewalthaufen.blogspot.co.uk La Journee (Early 15th Century Blog): link Shooting Leave (Late Victorian Blog): allthebrave.blogspot.co.uk |

Who sells this figure? It's a mini you get free if that you order Blood on the Nile from Perry Miniatures. As far as I'm aware it's not available from anywhere else. Hope that helps? Darrell. I forgot to mention, Warlord also do a version of Colonel Fred Burnaby that's available when you order Blood on the Nile from them: (Scroll down for pics) link Personally I prefer the understated sculpt from the Perry's. I like them both. …….and so do I. I just prefer the Perry model as it is a more considered and understated model that worked w=very well on the vignette I painted up (above). Darrell. Not having seen the figure in the flesh it's hard to judge, but the Perry's one doesn't strike me as looking like someone who was 6' 4" and could carry two ponies upstairs one under each arm? Warlord's version looks the part, whilst the understated nature of Perry's is a little underwhelming for my taste, it could represent almost anyone. |

I ordered the Pery version. Mark |

Got mine today.Like the sculpt but this is one time I wish they made a figure heroic size as he was a big man.Same thing with Conquest's Simon Kenton was a giant of a man but they made the figure the same size as other figures.I understand about scale but they could make these kind of figures taller, fuller and still keep the scale.
