So I'm thinking of selling off my entire Warzone collection. Most of the models are painted to a nice tabletop standard. My issue is whether I should do a lump sum sale of everything, sell by armies, or what? The one thing I do not want to do is break things down by units. I don't want to be left with anything extra. It's all or nothing or I will have various bits and pieces left. Any opinions? Thanks! -Edgar |

My recommendation is to offer in lots that are be grouped by faction. I think you have to strike a balance between size/price (shipping cost/affordability) and potential market. It's really driven by how large of a collection you have. Look at ebay for research, some individual warzone figures go for ridiculous amounts of money (hurricane walkers anyone?). |

I hate to split up a collection when selling up. But undoubtedly you get a higher price for smaller lots, priced at disposable income level. the cons to this is you might be left with bits that don't sell, and you will have to do more work to post. There doesn't seem to be a premium value for 'complete' collections amongst the tire kicker community :-) |

Hmm…… I have also reached that time in life when after many happy years, "stuff" has to go. I was wanting to donate my collection of Napoleonic 1/72 plastics to a school or youth group in the uk where it might do some good in encouraging future enthusiasts, but so far no takers. |

Which Warzone stuff is it? Is it original Warzone or Warzone Resurrection? |

Depends what kind of price the "all or nothing" is. Depending on the size of the collection, it will take more work, but you will get a better price by breaking it down into reasonable groups. I did this with several historical armies I got rid of and reasonable groups were 50 to 500+ figs in a group. It really depends on how much you have and what you want for it. You also need to remember that most buyers do not need or want your entire collection, so they will give it a pass because they don't want to have to sell a bunch of stuff themselves. |

Break it up. I, for example, might be interested in the Mishima or Imperial factions because I don't have any. The Capital, Bahaus and Dark forces, however, I have way too much of. |

I agree with the others. Break it into factions and then if any factions are particularly large, break those in half as well. If you have the time to research I'd also take any units that are extremely rare (usually units that Prince August doesn't have) and sell those separately. Some individual units might fetch very large amounts on their own. |

Lots of food for thought. As I expected from this group. Thank you. Now comes the hard part, which is pulling them out and making the move to sell. I'll be taking the advice and splitting them up. |

@parrskool- That's really too bad about the collection. Our local public library occasionally takes items of interest to be displayed as a curiosity. Maybe yours does too? @Ibsomniac- My collection is primarily 1st edition with a scattering of second edition and some conversions. I have an unfinished Mishima Demonhunter with a Nimrod Autocannon, for example. @ministure Wargaming- It's funny you say that as I'd likely keep Capital and Dark Legion if they didn't sell to use in other games. |

If you have Vulkans, sell them separately as they go for silly money :) |

Sadly, I gave my Vulkans away a few years ago. |
