I used The Dip (Minwax Polyshades Royal Walnut color)to color the leaves on some cake decorator trees. Simple, super-quick, and easy. They look quite a bit better than the mono-color leaves without any color. I plan to do this with all of my plastic plants, including some to be used for swamp terrain. YMMV. Cheers! |

I use a variety of washes / drybrushing depending on the look I want to give them. The washes are good at handling the plastic shine but any issues can be quickly sorted with a blast of matt varnish. Here's the different looks you can get with the current GW washes ….
