Apologies, but this has been sat on my old hard drive for such a long time I had completely forgotten it. I had started this on the RF Yahoo group a long long time ago. I don't think it is completely finished (in fact I know it isn't as 76 Hours isn't listed as a freference) but if anyone can make use of it please feel free.

The link takes you to the page on my blog and the document itself is about 1Mb and is a 26 page PDF.

Thanks, I think I started work on this in 2005 or 2006. I put up some of it on the RF group but I didnt do much with it and it hasn't ever been played out to see if balance is correct. It scales up to any WW2 rule set reasonably well. I used this to playrtest a lot of PBI2 in the old days. I built a 4x4 table with the beach and had someone cast me some log obstacles as well. Might gave to see if I can dig it out from the garage. The USMC figures I had are in 15mm and are also somewhere in a box along with 9 or so OG LVT -1 and 2s. Pacific has been a while. Might rekindle some interest and I might have a look at this for the BG series of games and do some single figure basing

HMGS, Inc.'s Cold Wars 2010 had a Tarawa game that was equally as nice. There was also an unrelated display of USMC equipment with a couple of marines giving talks and telling stories just outside the room where this game was put on. One of the marines had a relative who fought in the battle so the GM and players coached him through a couple of turns in the game.

A magazine photo feature is linked below. The Tarawa photos at bottom of the page.

Nice to read something again about RF and Tarawa.
I started my Tarawa based island in 2002 and redone it in 2007/ 2012 and 2014.
Now i am busy in expanding my LVT-2 fleet.
So i can use your PFD for sure Simon
