"What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun."
The Writer of course had wargaming primarily in mind.

I read in the Cold Wars program that Saturday night at 7:00 had a veritable plethora of AWI goodies scheduled at that time.
So I had my Hall Pig™ and my Yuengling and wandered to my first choice, Light Bobs in 40mm.
I had a great talk with the writer, Chris Parker, about AWI gaming. I mentioned my own "Flames of Liberty" and how much of it I stole from other rules sets.
"Don't we all?" he grinned.

There is nothing new under the sun.

And Light Bobs is a good game. As Victor Kiam said, "I liked the game so much I bought the rules!"

I always thought the quote referred to bell-bottom trousers.

So I wonder who the Preacher stole that phrase from?

Now I'm going to be up nights wondering what a Hall Pig is.

Now I'm going to be up nights wondering what a Hall Pig is.

Probably a hot dog.

Seems like 1:9 would definitely be a skirmish scale. Oh, wait…

His "Day of Battle" medieval rules are fun, too.

Oh well if we're quoting, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN, "And it is said, divide by half if shooting against skirmishing troops."
With no disrespect peoples.
Cheers all :)

Hall Pig is the piece de resistance of the Host dining experience. A still living pig is shredded before your eyes and served.
Comes with cole slaw and mashed potatoes.
