I'd love to refight the great battle, don't have the miniatures, but now could do it with the cards. But how many packs of cards would be needed?

Just found the following Nafziger OOBs for reference:

I think the pack has all you need.

The 100 Days pack being marketed by Sam contains some 200 beautifully produced cards, and contains all the units from the Waterloo Campaign's three armies at its chosen scale of about a brigade (or Prussian Regt.) per card.

Awesome! Amazing that you can fight all of the battles with that one pack! Thanks guys

This was a great idea even if you have the minis. It's a lot easier to put some unit cards out on the table than to pull the minis out. Sometimes you just don't feel like doing that.

I have the rules and cards. What I like about the cards is that they include all the units in the theater, not just the units that fought at one of the four battles.

So I guess that system 7 wasnt a wacky idea after all, just ahead of its time.

Do the cards tell you which unit ( brigade ) fought in which battle, or us that up to you to find out?

Mark, that would be up to you. The pack (along with the free "Handred Days" campaign booklet available for download) is just that – the campaign.
I know that there is a player-written "Quatre Bras" on Sam's "Honour" forum. I took "Ligny" from a scenario originally for "Grande Armee". Haven't seen one for Waterloo yet, but I haven't looked that hard.

Thanks Peter, the best I've found so far is on the Republique website wtj.com/games/republique
But no Prussians, so will gat their order of arrival elsewhere.
Mark.

Thanks for posting this. I didn't know the cards even existed but now I've ordered some.

I would think the cards would go great with a Cigar Box Battle mat. Sort of a traveling "miniatures" game. I may have to investigate that!

I believe that is something that some have done… A wonderful mobile wargame, to be frank!
