I'm not convinced by those shields … I think the elbow should be inside the shield (I don't think it would be dished if it was for wearing on the upper arm) – are the FiB shields separate (so the position has been chosen by the assembler?) or is this how they come? Phil |

Try to lower your forearm to point the pike at an enemy with a shield-rim in the way. I find the models more credible after the attempt!
But isn't the anchor upside-down? See Duncan Head. |
