Another new covenanter infantry regiment up in the blog. This time it's a unit that garrisoned Aberdeen in 1644 and fought at the battle of Justice Mills near Aberdeen in Sept 1644.

I admire your drive and comittment as much as I admire your talent and artistry. Well done, yet again.

thumbs up

With your Auldearn battlefield taking shape I guess the end is in sight. What next? Battle of Alford?

Thanks folks, was a real treat painting these after all the tartan. Flags will be up later today.

Thanks Captain, we have been knocking a few ideas around on where to go next.

Alford and Justice Mills would be easy given the overlap on OOB with Auldearn. Kilsyth and Inverlochy are scary given the amount of clansmen (and tartan) needed. Philliphaugh would also be a fun challenging game, and we have also been thinking about moving outside 1644/45 with the project. Open to suggestions though!

But right now, top of the agenda is to tie up the loose ends, play some games and enjoy the fruits.
