Hi,

We all know there are now some great generic horror miniatures out there (Westwind alone will tick pretty much all the boxes), but I was wondering if anyone knows of any 28 mm miniatures that have decent likenesses of classic horror movie actors. Back in the 1980s Grenadier produced a wonderful Boris Karloff mummy, but by modern standards that appears tiny, and there have been a few Nosferatu, but rarely any that capture the Max Schreck look. So, any recommendations for:

Peter Cushing (ideally as everyone's favourite baron, but seriously, anything that looks like the great man would be fantastic.)
Boris Karloff in any of his classic roles.
A Schreck Nosferatu.
Cesare from The Cabinet of Dr Caligari.

Any other suggestions? Again, I'm looking for decent 28mm likenesses, not just yet another vampire or another Frankenstein's creature. Thanks in advance for any help; it's really appreciated.

Best,
Mike

Cyrus – yes, I have that Creature. It's an absolutely cracking sculpt. :-)

Thanks for the other contruibutions, guys, but I'm not really looking for generic Draculas or Frankenstein's monsters, I'm hoping I can find something that catches the look of Lee or Lugosi or (especially) Karloff. After all, if Grenadier could do a mummy that had a touch of Boris Karloff about it thirty years ago, surely someone will have done something similar in the intervening time?

I'll second the Reaper minis for Bela Lugosi style Dracula and Lon Chaney as Wolfman. I have both.

My new range 'Vampire Slayers'Club' not launched yet has a Peter Cushing style Van Helsing and Cushing in 'Twins of Evil'. 32mm metal. Indiegogo in May. I shall also have Van Helsing out East facing Chinese Vampires. Such fun!!!
