Harrison Ford has crashed the vintage fighter plane he was piloting into to an LA golf course. He supposedly had head wounds and was treated by two doctors who "…happened to be at the golf course…"

Yipes! Hope he's okay! That man might need to slow down a bit…

tberry740305 Mar 2015 5:37 p.m. PST

Evidently this isn't the first time he's crashed.

darthfozzywig05 Mar 2015 6:16 p.m. PST

Yeah, I can see the news helicopters from our house.

He was flying a Ryan PT-22, a WW2 trainer. Last report is that his condition is moderate with lacerations to the head. He reported engine failure soon after take off.

The radio sound clip of Ford reporting "Engine failure, immediate return."

The aircraft itself is still in one piece, more-or-less:

Thank God he is going to be OK. I don't think I can handle both Spock and Han Solo gone within a week.

He crashed a helicopter too, but that was about 15 or 20 years ago.

LordNth05 Mar 2015 7:26 p.m. PST

"Get off my plane!"

Privateer4hire05 Mar 2015 7:35 p.m. PST

"…ain't like dusting crops, boy!"
Glad he's not seriously damaged.

Tom Bryant05 Mar 2015 7:45 p.m. PST

I'm glad he's ok, and that the plane looks ok as well. He was lucky to be flying a trainer and not a Mustang. Those are a LOT less forgiving at low altitudes.

Everybody knows that Harrison Ford can fly but can't land…just watch Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom!!

Poor PT22- I remember having one of those string guided little 2 stroke motor driven ones in the 70s lots of fun.
Evidently Han Solos strings broke on his one and it plowed.
Wonder if its a right off , shame if it is :(

He knows a few maneuvers…

It was the man with one arm!

Wait that doesn't work….

doug redshirt06 Mar 2015 5:24 p.m. PST

I hope this crash isn't an ominous prediction for how the new Star Wars movie will go over.

sillypoint06 Mar 2015 7:55 p.m. PST

Was he flying….solo?

capncarp08 Mar 2015 5:54 p.m. PST

Maybe Han crashed…but he still shot first!

He nearly gave new meaning to the term 'pulp actor'.
