I have been following the previews for a while----just put down my $$ on the kickstarter. Hoping there are other fans out there. |

I'm glad it's up; searching "wasteman" on KS to see if it's live brings up some "interesting" things. Just had to coincide with the Phroggs KS, din'it? |

I know! I'd like to support both, but my funds just don't allow it…so the phroggs won out. What would pull me in to the wasteman KS is the ability to buy individual figures from the squads – I just can't justify all those massive 35mm+ humans, whereas I would love to add some of the mutants, cyborgs etc into a small pledge bundle. |

Yes, these figures are larger than some; but I like them. I have some RadTown figures and they are very nice to hold in the hand and are very nicely detailed (as well as superbly cast). Comparing them with a range of figures, they are certainly big compared to true-scale 25mm, but comparable to some of the larger 28mm: in fact one "28mm" range is slightly bigger ;-) Personally, I think that 32-35mm figures is going to be the new standard for skirmish-type games of a dozen per side. As you've guessed, I am backing this game. And I hope to play it in its own right. As such it dosn't really matter if it is exactly the same scale as other games, or not. Leaving that aside, there are a whole host of figures from this KS which are not scale specific and can be used anywhere… Check it out – it is well worth a look :-) |

Can't pass up the opportunity to get that big Rad-Dragon. Too bad it is looking like the honesty of the 35mm scale is off putting---as 28-32mm figs are often far beyond the stated scale anyway--every other hero mini out there must be 6'6" tall and throwing around a 200+lbs weapon I think the minis look good---and the big mutants are exactly what I want anyway. |

The creator has loaded a game play video. Even if you have no interest in this KickStarter, you should watch the video – it is an excellent 2.5 minutes of pure entertainment :-) And you may find you are interested after all ;-) Video: YouTube link KickStarter: link |

I really like the mutants and big stuff…my hobby budget is pretty over-stretched as it is, but man, I'm tempted to get some of these! |

A new freebie has been added to every (qualifying) pledge, the LOWbot. Check out the project, it is beginning to shape up very nicely

The Kickstarter has excellent momentum in its last 48hrs, the models look a joy to paint and use |
